Over the past week, small sneaks of what has been quietly taking shape were shared, and it has been deeply heartening to connect with those who already feel drawn to these pieces.
This has been a quiet dream, a year in the making, unfolding alongside the other commitments of life. It is guided by care, intention, and a desire to create something meaningful, something truly my own. From sampling to refining each print, from the first idea to the final stitch, every step has been considered with the hope that it feels special to you too.
This beginning took shape in India, through the hands of artisans who believed in our vision. Their craft reflects generations of knowledge, patience, and pride, shaped by skills passed down through time and refined through years of practice. Much of this labour remains unseen, yet it sits at the heart of everything you hold.
Each piece is handmade using traditional methods, crafted in 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton and printed with azo-free dyes, chosen for comfort, care, and longevity. The prints are designed in-house and realised through many thoughtful hands, guided by techniques shaped over generations.
Cottage Loom creates seasonally, not periodically. Each collection and its keepsakes are carefully considered and require time to make, from design to dyeing to final finishing. Pieces are released only when they are ready, allowing space for intention, quality, and the people behind each garment.
Seeing this dream come together has been a quiet joy. These keepsakes are made to be lived in, returned to, and loved over time. Pieces meant to accompany moments of becoming, through all seasons.
If there are moments where things feel imperfect or slower than hoped, thank you for your patience and understanding. Do feel free to connect via Instagram or write in to info@cottageloom.com. Every note is read with care, and this space continues to grow through shared conversations.
Thank you for being part of this beginning.
Stay close as more is gently revealed in the days ahead.
